Staff recommended reading: The Shack

In The Shack by William P. Young, Mac, the main character, loses his daughter in a terrible tragedy, which (understandably so) leaves him bitter and depressed. One day he receives a letter asking him to go to the shack where he lost his daughter. It is right here that he finds the answers he's been searching for. He finds a God who talks to him and surprises him. The God he finds at the shack is the opposite of what he had been taught, and this makes him understand himself better and reconcile with what happened. This book makes you see and reflect on the relationship we all have with God. It may be a little too religious for some, but no matter—it's touching and makes you think. I highly recommend it!
