We have to know how to properly protect ourselves from criminals that we may encounter in the streets or even in the places that we least expect them. Regardless of age, gender or build, there is a self-defense technique that when learned properly, can help you defend yourself. And when the time comes, if need be, we can take these goons by surprise.

My daughter is currently taking a self-defense course, and once she gets through some serious training, I can finally breathe a little easier knowing that she can protect herself once she’s been put in a dangerous situation. This is the main reason why I let my daughter learn martial arts. You’ll never know when you’re going to face a potentially risky situation, so might as well learn some of the practical ways to defend yourself against bad people.
